Moves
Four concert tours
As part of the concert series BEWEGT, the Ensemble Megaphon transforms four galleries in Hanover into sounding walkways and discovery paths. Each of these sound-artistic excursions is unique, but all are based on musical works from 8 centuries and improvisations inspired by the - partly specially designed - art objects on site. Music in the style of passacaglia forms movement rhythms to which the artists and audience explore the spaces walking, striding, strolling, hurrying, wandering and lingering. Each of these forays crosses different continents and time periods. Works from baroque to contemporary music combine with sonic and visual elements to playfully explore walking at different speeds, movement with instrument and listening to silence. In this way, irretrievable poetic and visual-musical miniatures are created on each evening, four - in the truest sense of the word - moving concert evenings.
