Nemanja Lukić, born in Loznica (Serbia), works internationally as a conductor, accordionist and music teacher. Following his undergraduate studies (Bachelor of Music with a major in accordion/conducting) at the National Music Academy of Ukraine in Kyiv, he completed a Master's degree (accordion) at the Hanover University of Music, Drama and Media.
In 2023, he completed his training with Vassilis Christopoulos at the Frankfurt University of Music and Performing Arts with a Bachelor of Music, majoring in orchestral conducting.
As a soloist and chamber musician, Nemanja Lukic has been honoured several times at national and international competitions.
He is a member of various ensembles, including Artefiktion e.V., Ensemble Megaphon, the klezmer quartet Hevenu Shalom and the Devion Duo, which performs on violin and accordion. Further engagements have taken him to the Hanover State Opera, the Bielefeld Theatre and the Braunschweig State Theatre.
As a conductor, Lukić has worked with the Göttingen Symphony Orchestra, the Philharmonic Orchestra Bremerhaven, the State Orchestra Rheinische Philharmonie Koblenz, the Neubrandenburg Philharmonic Orchestra and the Philharmonie Südwestfalen, among others.
He has been a scholarship holder of the Richard Wagner Association Frankfurt am Main since 2020.
He received important impulses from conductors such as Simone Young, Oksana Lyniv, Nathalie Stutzmann, Semjon Bytschkow and Pablo Heras-Casado as part of the masterclass for conducting (director: Günther Albers) at the Bayreuth Festival 2024.
In the 2022/23 season, he assisted Günther Albers in the production of two chamber operas at the Giessen City Theatre.
In addition to his teaching activities at the Music School of the City of Hanover, Nemanja Lukic has been the conductor and choirmaster of the Music School's concert choir since 2019

He has been the choirmaster of the Hanover-based choir Canta Nova since March 2025.
