Oren Lazovski was born in 1980 in Haifa, Israel. He studied dance and art education at Reut Junior High School Haifa and later in the dance department of Wizo High School of the Arts, where he graduated with honours in 1998. In addition, he received training in classical ballet from Liora Bing Heideker of the Haifa Ballet Studio at the Royal Academy of Dance. He was a scholarship holder of the Sharet Foundation America Israel. In 2006 he came to Berlin and has since worked on various projects with dance companies, including the Nuremberg State Theatre, Deutsche Oper Berlin, StaatsOper Berlin, Maxim Gorki Schauspielstudio Berlin. He has also collaborated with Zeynep Tanbay Dance Project Istanbul, Cyprus National Theatre, with Ismael Ivo, Ballett Magdeburg and with Christian Spuck and Tamas Moritz, In-vitro Musiktheater Antwerpen. As a choreographer, Oren Lazovski presented his work "The Marathon of unexpected" at the Venice Biennale in 2012, and participated in the Tischlerei Deutsche Oper Berlin and Maxim Gorki Schauspiel Studio Berlin. Most recently, his new project "NO-MAD" premiered at Radialsystem Berlin and he performed in "The Nutcracker" at the Philharmonie Luxembourg, Luxembourg.
