Music for Insects is a media concert with the Ensemble Megaphon and guest artists from Rouen: Frédéric Jouhannet (electric violin) and Lison de Ridder (overhead projection).
The diversity of sounds and the beauty of insect shapes are among the inspirations for this artistic encounter. The music hisses, grooves and hovers between classical music, sounds, jazz and folklore. The French violinist Frédéric Jouhannet is passionate about traditional music from the Caucasus from the 60s to the 90s, which he produces on his violin and many curious sound instruments. The imaginative drawings by visual artist Lison De Ridder transform these sounds on canvas.
